Today we decided that we will now be solely doing our project on private sports teams in the Detroit Metropolitan area.  We will keep all fans posted about our change and what we will be posting.

Tigers Get Swept

The Tigers get swept as they now have the most world series losses of any major league team.  Although this was a large dissapointment for the Tigers, Detroit has to  according to Liam Neel (avid Tigers fan) "give props" to the Giants as they outhit the Tigers in all four games.

Tigers go Down a Game

  
After a tough loss last night where everything seemed to go wrong for Justin Verlander and the Tigers as Pablo Sandoval hit three home run's (two against Verlander). The Tiger's late rally with three runs was not enough to catch up to the hot Giant's.

Michigan vs. MSU Recap

After another tough lost against the Michigan Wolverines the MSU Spartans fall to 3 and 4. The MSU Spartans held up there defensive end but haven't been able to put up the yards needed to win games.

Tigers have an unexpected opponent.

The tigers were expecting to play the Saint Louis Cardinals but after a 1-3 game defficet the Sanfrancisco Giants came back and won 3 staight games to move on to the World Series. It should be a great matchup against the Detroit Tigers.

Lions have another rough start...

The Detroit Lions are now 2-4 as they took another tough lost against the Chicago Bears, with 1 interception and 2 fumbles plus the lions were only 1 for 3 when in the red zone with two of them turning into turnovers. The detroit lions are going to have to step it up for a chance at the playoffs.

Tigers Game Postponed

The Tigers game was posponed last night due to rain fears as rain was in the forecast last night although it didn't start raining until a few hours after the scheduled game start. The Tigers game is re-scheduled for 4:00 PM this afternoon. The Yankees's pitcher tonight is C.C Sabathia facing off against the Tigers leading pitcher, Max Scherzer.

Its that time again!

This upcoming weekend will mark another historical event in college football, the Michigan Wolverines vs. the Michigan State Spartans. The Michigan Wolverines kicked off the season with another good season at 4-2 while the Michigan State Spartans have also had a decent start at 4-3.  

After another miraculous 4th quarter comeback to take the game to O.T, the Detroit Lions beat the Philadelphia Eagles to go 2-3. The lions are going to need to cotinue winning games if they want a chance to go to the playoffs.  

Tigers Have Chance to go up 3 Games Tonight

The Tigers have a chance to go up three games to nothing against the Yankees tonight with Justin Verlander (17-8) pitching. The game is in Detroit at 8 PM ET.

Pistons Kick off the Pre-Season with a Win

The Pistons beat the Toronto Raptors for their first pre-season win. The Pistons had some pretty good looks with Greg Monroe showing his skills, he leads the team in points, rebounds, and steals. The Pistons have had a rough past couple of seasons not making the playoffs since the 2007-2008 season, but many Pistons fans feel this could be the season.

Tigers Fail To Move On

The Tigers failed to win last night, after the A's get three run's in the ninth inning.

The Tigers could win the ALDS with a win against the Athletics tonight. They play in Oakland at 9:00.

Miguel Cabrera

Last night Miguel Cabrera has won the Triple crown, being the first person since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967 to win the triple crown. He joins names like Lou Gehrig and Ted Williams in this elite category or group of players.

Lions loose another

After a Lions loss Sunday, they move into last place in the NFC North Division.  The Lions hope to rebound next week against the soaring Eagles.

Tigers Win AL Central, Miguel moves into first place in Home Runs

After a Tiger win last night we have secured a playoff birth, also with a home run last night Miguel Cabrera moves into first place in the Home Run category of the triple crown.

Tigers Move Into 1st Place

After a Tiger win and a White Sox loss last night, the Tigers move into 1st place in the AL central. Last time that they were in 1st they immediately went down two games quickly to the White Sox.  Their next game is today against the Royals.

Replacement Referees

Thankfully, the era of the replacement referees in the NFL is over. The Referees and the players association have finally come to an agreement after 3 weeks of regular season play.

Lockout

The NHL players association still haven't come to an agreement with the managers of their teams as NHL fans are worrying that this season will be canceled or postponed until next year.

Detroit Tigers

The Tigers are now 1 game back after their win last night from the Chicago White Sox.  They have their next chance at a win today against the Royals, the White Sox's next game is also today against the Cleveland Indians.

Highlights

WRs go to Africa

Larry Fitzgerald and  Anquan Boldin take a trip to Africa to help people in need. They are helping move rocks out of a ravine and other tasks that the people might be to weak to do.

They want to give people their money but they we STRICTLY told not to give handouts. Africa's GDP is almost 1/50 of the U.S.A.'s. All they want to do is help, which they are, even id it isn't as much as they want to.

Nick Fairly: Legal Trouble

Lions News:

At 1:13 a.m, Sunday May the 27th, Nick Fairley was charged with DUI and attempting to elude the police. He will most likely not play this season. The police pulled him over after they saw him going 100mph westbound on inerstate 10.
